These anthologies, for the now-part-of-OUP-Nelson-Thornes, were a really interesting task. We were quite a big team, assembling texts/extracts for either communication/information or creativity/imagination (or for a few of us, both). The huge wire-bound teacher guides offered lesson plans with links to the then assessment strategies/strands – they were really detailed, with a range of different ways through the material. The anthologies themselves provided great texts which offered lots of possibilities for teaching.
