This is where it started – with A Level writing. The book on the left is the first textbook I was involved with, and the one on the right is the latest A Level book I’ve contributed to.
As you can see, both of these are specifically written to the AQA English Language specification – the one I know best at this point – and are written for students, offering activities to engage them in exploration of language in (and outside) the classroom, as well as explaining theory and introducing them to research. I’m proud of both of these texts. They represent a lot of work and I know they’ve been used by a lot of students.
